SATURDAY 1
MORNING BUS TO ROME AIRPORT (TO BE COORDINATED)
GOALS
Each student is expected to acquire a general working knowledge of film language and how to create and apply music to moving images. All participants will be practically involved in writing, filming and scoring a 90 second short film; as well as attempt composing a sound tract to a scene from a full length, known, feature film. An introductory knowledge of the requirements encountered in the film industry when hunting jobs, and music producing will be presented in as individual a fashion as possible.
REQUIREMENTS
All participants must have a laptop with one or another composing program (finale, Sibelius, Score) and proficiency in use thereof, as well as in the rudiments of music theory. It is also required that you have one or another video player on your laptop: avi, quick time, windows media player, as these will be needed for our practical exercises.
PRICE: € 750.00, which includes:
Course lessons, breakfast & dinner (lunch optional at a small additional price), bus to and from the Rome airport and shared accommodation. This offer is based on a minimum subscription of 6 – 10 persons. Less than this number may make it difficult for the organizers to offer certain services. We reserve the right to change any part of this program and services based the number of participants.
All travel expenses, including flight, travel insurance, baggage etc. to and from departure location, is completely the participants responsibility. It is understood and agreed that the organization has no liability to any applicant during their participation in the workshop.
